The entrance to Northgate Estates is a critical design element with an important purpose to orientate one in terms of context and identity.
The Boundary Wall
The architectural language of the boundary wall speaks of safety and security without fear. It is a simple and cost-effective wall that envelops the development and speaks proudly but gently about what Northgate embodies. The choice materials used for the construction of the wall will keep in mind the sustainable aspect, the community aspect and the budget of the wall. To break the inherent “hardness” of a large extent of boundary wall, we will introduce planning of an indigenous nature that is striking visually, adding to the overall aesthetics in a way which is sustainable, and that fosters pride.
The Gatehouse
The gatehouse façade draws inspiration from classical and contemporary design principles and elements and in keeping with the language of the boundary wall, it is both proud and humble and most of all secure. The specifics of the gatehouses will cater for security without the inconvenience of lengthy queues and unnecessary delays.
